Privacy Policy

What we collect

We run privacy-respecting, first-party analytics: page views, referring site, approximate country (from request headers), device width, and clicks on outbound product and affiliate links. This data contains no names, no fingerprints, and no cross-site identifiers, and is never sold or shared.

Analytics (Pulse)

This site uses Pulse, a first-party analytics system we operate. Pulse collects page views, scroll depth (when a reader passes 75% of a page), and button/link click events — including clicks on affiliate and product links. Each session is assigned a random session ID stored in sessionStorage (cleared when you close the browser tab); it is not a persistent cookie and is not used to track you across different sites or sessions. We do not sell, share, or license Pulse data to third parties. There is no cross-site tracking.

Affiliate partners (xTool GoAffPro, Impact Radius for Glowforge, Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles, LaserTree GoAffPro) may set their own cookies when you click through to their sites. Those cookies are governed by the respective partner's privacy policy, not ours. A consent management platform (CMP) is planned for future deployment.

If you subscribe to our newsletter we store the email address you provide, used only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Advertising

We may display ads served by Google AdSense and/or partner ad networks in future. These third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set cookies to attribute your visit. Their privacy policies govern that data. We use affiliate links for machine brands (xTool, Glowforge, LaserTree) and design file platforms (Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles).

Your rights
