Affiliate Disclosure

Doc · FTC 16 CFR Part 255 · How this site makes money

In accordance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"): some links on LaserCraftLab are affiliate links. If you click one and purchase a machine or digital product, we may receive a commission. You never pay more because of it — pricing is identical whether you use our link or go direct.

Current affiliate relationships: xTool (6–8% commission), Glowforge / Impact Radius (up to $500 per Pro referral), Creative Fabrica (25% on purchases, 20% recurring), Design Bundles (25%), LaserTree (5–10%). All tag values are null until we complete affiliate signups — links go to the merchant homepage without a tracking parameter until then.

Our rules

  • Verdicts and machine comparisons are written before we check whether a brand has an affiliate program.
  • Safety posts (PVC warning, fumes guide) carry no affiliate links — full stop.
  • We recommend machines and materials with no affiliate program when they're the better pick, and say so.
  • Posts containing affiliate links carry a disclosure banner and set affiliate: true in frontmatter.
  • Affiliate links are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" as search engines require.
  • Every setting, price, and spec in our content is attributed to a source — we do not invent facts.

Digital products

LaserCraftLab sells its own SVG file packs. These are distinct from affiliate relationships — we built the products and receive 100% of the revenue (minus Stripe processing fees). Product listings are clearly labeled as site products and are not disguised as editorial recommendations.

Advertising

LaserCraftLab may display ads (e.g., via Google AdSense and partner networks) in future. Advertisers have no input into editorial content, and ad placements will be visually delimited and labeled.
